Ruth Roman was born on June 22nd, 1939, at Lynn Massachusetts. The actress is the eldest child of Lithuanian Jewish parents Mary Pauline Gold & Abraham Roman. She was only a young child when her father, who was an carnival barker, died. Her mother was forced to take on jobs like waitressing, cleaning and washing.
